Malahide Castle
Malahide Castle is a magnificent medieval castle located just ten minutes drive from San Augustine B&B. It is one of Ireland’s oldest castles with a dramatic 800-year heritage. Set on two hundred and sixty acres of green parkland, it is a wonderful place to visit. The castle also hosts many shows and events displaying magnificent examples of history and culture.

Trinity College Dublin
Only twenty minutes drive into Dublin City, guests can enjoy the hustle and bustle of City life. Trinity College Dublin founded in 1592 is located in the centre of Dublin city and is the home of the ‘Book of Kells’. The Book of Kells, introduced in the 9th century is a manuscript that documents the four Gospels of the life of Jesus Christ.

Dublin Castle
Dublin Castle is just one of the many historic sites to see. Erected in the thirteenth century, this Viking settlement was headquarters to the British administration and in 1922 following Ireland’s independence was handed to the Irish Government. This building as well as others in the area are beautiful sites displaying Irish history and culture.
